Becca’s entree into the world of design began when she left her home state of Colorado in 2001 to pursue a Master’s Degree in Interior Design at The University of Massachusetts at Amherst. After completing her Master’s Degree she was hired by Tonetti Associates Architects in New York City. A unique experience, working in one of the few remaining creative offices in Carnegie Hall, Becca honed her skills in historic preservation.
Becca’s most challenging and rewarding professional experience to date came from her years at Zeff Design, an award winning full-service design firm. She was afforded the opportunity to work with A-list celebrities, well known chefs and restauranteurs as well as for some of the most successful business owners in the country. An invaluable experience, Becca found success creating residential and commercial spaces both large and small.
Projects that she was involved with at Zeff Design have been featured on the pages of Interior Design Magazine, Vanity Fair, The New York Times, New York Magazine and Hospitality Design Magazine. Her work at Zeff Design also resulted in two major industry awards. Located in the world famous Carlyle Hotel, Sense Spa was honored with Hospitality Design Magazine Spa of the Year award in 2009. Borough Food & Drink, a Manhattan restaurant, was nominated by Interior Design Magazine as Restaurant of the Year in 2007.
With a decade of experience in the design world under her belt, she’s still as passionate about good design as she was just entering school in 2001. When she’s not working with her clients, she enjoys reading any magazine she can get her hands on, cooking for her family, hiking the San Juan Mountains and perfecting the design of her own home.
