I’m enamored with this hot pink chair on offer from Schoolhouse Electric & Supply Co. Well, actually I am pretty much enamored with everything that’s on offer from Schoolhouse Electric right now.

There’s nothing I like better than a great makeover and the folks at Schoolhouse Electric have pulled off one of the best business makeovers that I’ve seen in years. Fact is they’ve always had great, classic light fixtures but the company’s brand was a bit dated – now, they’re anything but. Take a look when you have a chance.

Back to the the chair. The big pink chair.

In my mind when I see a statement piece like this the wheels start turning. Where could I use this? In what room? For which client? And what would coordinate with it?

Just in case the most perfect all white kitchen with a little sitting area comes along, I’ve got the throw pillows all picked out. A little Marimekko, Maharam or Trina Turk should do the trick.
