There’s lots of talk about bikes in this little mountain town I live in.

You’d think most Colorado towns are ski towns, but I am quickly learning that biking is just as important.

-

To kick off biking season here, I’ve put together a mini-roundup of bike art from Etsy.

-

Cinelli, Un Velo, Singlespeed, Bike Stack, and Fixie.

I’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of the new John Robshaw collection of fabrics for Duralee.

They have arrived, and they are fabulous.

-

I’ve been a big fan of John Robshaw’s work for years.

He pioneered the trend of Indian inspired block printed fabrics.

But his price point has always been a bit hard to swallow.

The Duralee set is a different story though – very reasonably priced.

-

See more of the fabrics here.

If you’re interested in purchasing these or any other To The Trade fabrics contact me directly.

The folks at Dwell Studio are killing it these days.

It what was once a business most well known for their crib sets.

They have branched out into all things home decor.

This is not any easy thing to do – moving from cutesy to sophisticated.

-

Check out their goods here.

Melanie Acevedo is a brilliant photographer.

-

You’ve probably seen her work before.

-

Remember those ubiquitous images of Jenna Lyon’s home for Domino? Guess who shot those? Melanie.

-The cover of Undecorate by Christiane Lemieux – the founder of DwellStudio? Melanie.

-

Not every photographer out there can make an interior space jump off a page the way Melanie can.

Her website is packed full of beautiful images.

-

And she recently captured images of Simon Doonan and Jonathan Adler at their Shelter Island home – a fun article and some more great pictures here.

As long as I’m on the subject, I’ve got to give some love to Designer’s Guild.

They are the masters of updated vintage floral.

I’m dying to use the Amrapali wallpaper in a sophisticated little girl’s room.

Have you heard?

Domino is being resurrected.

I’m skeptical about the success of this venture but am, of course, hoping for the best.

-Looking forward to April 17th with fingers crossed.

-

Read the details and press release here.

-

PS – I’ll never get tired of seeing the images from Jenna Lyons’ home when it was featured in Domino …

even if it is used ad nauseam throughout the blogosphere.

I’ve done it.

I finally started Pinning images.

-

I was hesitant to get involved with another internet time sucking activity, but I was getting my arm twisted by some friends and readers. I caved. I obviously have no ability to resist peer pressure. And I have to admit, it is fun. I think it will also relieve some of the burden on my insanely crowded bookmarks bar!

-

You can find me on Pinterest here.

-

The image above is from stylist Amanda Ross when she was profiled on The Coveteur.

And my very first Pinned image.
